Skynet Was There at the Dawn of the Space Industry
Loral Skynet's record of innovation began in 1962 when our very first satellite, Telstar I, was used
to deliver the first live, intercontinental satellite TV transmission between Europe and the US. In
the more than forty years since then, Skynet has met the advanced communication solutions and IP
networking needs of organizations around the world.
